According to United Airlines Unaccompanied Minor policy, children between 5 and 14 years can travel as unaccompanied minors after there is a special booking made for them. Children between 5 – 14 years old who are going to be travelling without an adult guardian or a parent on the same flight must book the Unaccompanied Minor service mandatorily. It includes services like complimentary food (if available) and preboarding.
